Independent

Vote Map is an independent project by htbj technologies. It is not run, funded or endorsed by any political party, candidate, union, lobby group, government body or the Victorian Electoral Commission. No political organisation has access to the data, and we accept no payment or advertising from them. The idea is simple: give Victorians a way to see how different areas say they're voting.

What this is

Vote Map is an open, non-partisan straw poll that shows public sentiment by area. It is not a scientific poll, not a prediction and not official results, and it is not connected to the Victorian Electoral Commission. Results only reflect the people who chose to take part.

Fair use

  • Voting is only available to people located in Australia.
  • One vote per person.
  • No bots, scripts, automated or bulk submissions.
  • No attempts to manipulate results or disrupt the service.

We may discard votes we reasonably believe are fraudulent and adjust published totals to remove abuse.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we make no guarantees that it will be available, accurate or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
